A co-creation platform where Somfy gives you the floor to create together the future products and services of the home of tomorrow.
It is a creative process initiated by Somfy, in order to improve existing products and services or invent new ones. By becoming involved in these projects, you can influence the creation of future products or services and help Somfy to make the right choices, so why not say out loud what your needs & expectations are?
Somfy has implemented this collaborative "My Somfy Lab" platform to better understand your needs and to offer new products and services that suit you.
The results of the collaborative projects are announced about 2 weeks after the end of the call for contributions. They are published on My Somfy Lab. An e-mail will also be sent to the winners if funding is at stake.
When I register, I earn 10 points; when I submit an idea, I earn 20 points; when I answer a survey question, I earn 5 points; when I receive a like, I earn 5 points; when I submit a comment, I earn 10 points; when I receive a comment, I earn 15 points; when I give a like, I earn 1 point.
To participate in a project, you must first create an account on the "My Somfy Lab" website. (Make sure you enter all your personal information as we need it to contact you if you are a winner!)
- You will be invited to participate via email or by chosing a project on the home page ("Participate" page), select a project that interests you by clicking on the corresponding thumbnail.
- Check out the project presentation and the rules for participation. Don't forget that all the content submitted to the competition is subject to a moderation process. If you do not comply with the brief, your contribution will be deleted.
- If you wish to add files from your computer to illustrate your idea: first type your idea then click on "attachment" (only JPG/JPEG/TIFF/PNG/GIF are accepted).
- Don't forget to answer the survey to earn points.

By joining the My Somfy Lab community and by registering you will be invited to participate in several projects. Some of them are accessible to all and others may have restricted access, in that case, you will be invited by email only.
Each action you carry out (submission of ideas, likes, comments, surveys answers) enables you to earn points. If the project in which you are participating offers prizes, by reaching certain numbers of points, you are automatically included in a prize drawing with a chance of winning the corresponding prize. The most active or pertinent contributors (those who receive the most votes) are therefore rewarded for their participation. The prizes vary from one project to another.
The online community have already shared their ideas on "My Somfy Lab", just to suggest improvements to the products they use every day. If you think that your idea is the idea of the century and that it might be worth millions of dollars: Set up your own company or sell it to another company! If, on the other hand, you would simply like us to provide this service or product without making a big deal of it and while having fun, this is the place for you. Express yourself!
We need as much details as possible to understand if it is a glitch or a problem relating to the use of the different functions of "My Somfy Lab". If you were unable to fill a survey or post your idea online before the end of the competition due to a technical problem, send us an e-mail as quickly as possible via the support team with the answers to the following questions: When exactly does the problem occur? For which call for creation? On which web page are you (URL of the page if possible)? Which action are you carrying out or do you want to carry out? Do you receive an error message and if yes, which one?
To delete your user account, you only need to ask it by email to support. Don't forget to indicate your username.
